Our Story

A Home for Local Artistry

Nestled on the historic Central Avenue in the heart of Prince Albert, On the Avenue Artisans Gallery is a vibrant cooperative space where the creative spirit of Saskatchewan comes alive. More than 40 local and northern artists and artisans call this gallery home, showcasing an extraordinary variety of handcrafted works.

Artists rent their own display space, curate the pieces they wish to share with the world, and set their own prices — creating an authentic, direct connection between creator and collector. Every visit reveals something new as our artists continuously refresh their collections.

Owned and operated by the Lac La Ronge Indian Band, On the Avenue is proud to be an Indigenous-owned gallery — a gathering place that champions First Nations and northern artists and keeps their stories at the heart of downtown Prince Albert.
